Humilty Bestows Wisdom

Text: 2 Samuel 23-1 Kings 1

Rhema Verse: 1 Kings 3:7-9“Now, Lord my God, you have made your servant king in place of my father David. But I am only a little child and do not know how to carry out my duties.  Your servant is here among the people you have chosen, a great people, too numerous to count or number. So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?”

Message: Solomon did everything his father King David had requested of him, within three years he established his kingdom. But after finishing David's to-do-lists he had no idea what come's next. He was not a warrior like his father, not too handsome and famous like his brother Absalom. But what King Solomon had was a realization that he needed wisdom and discernment to govern the whole nation that belonged to You LORD. To take Israel to new heights, to do God's purpose and design, needs a visionary, a man of wisdom and discernment.

Because of this humility, knowing that He needed YOU, YOU gave him more than what He asked for. And this is also my desire and prayer Lord, to give me discernment and wisdom to be able to fulfill the vision you have entrusted to me. Lord, I need to learn the Art of winning souls, I need to feel the joy that  the Lord Jesus felt ushering. ONLY YOU can do that LORD.

Promise: Ask and I will receive, Seek and I will find, Knock and the door will be opened for me.

Command: Seek the giver and not the gifts.

Warning: without wisdom and discernment people perish.

Application: There were many times In my past I have tried to do things my own way, and I ended up in tears. I thank you Lord for I came into realization that I needed Your wisdom and discernment. Thank you Lord for you are the giver of every perfect and good things in my life. Thank you Holy Spirit for you are my wisdom and my guide.

On The Mountain Of The LORD It Will Be Provided

Text: 2 Samuel 23-1 Kings 1
Rhema Verse: 2 Samuel 24:16 "When the angel stretched out his hand to destroy Jerusalem, the Lord relented concerning the disaster and said to the angel who was afflicting the people, “Enough! Withdraw your hand.” The angel of the Lord was then at the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite."

Message: "On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided", this is the mountain where the plaque stopped and 70,000 has already died. Also the mountain where Abraham sacrificed Isaac, and the Lord told him to withdraw his hand for He was just testing Abraham. this is God's memorial place, where a certain man was so faithful and believed everything God has promised, and the reason he made a nation for himself - Israel. It is the mountain where the display of real worship and total reliance was seen by God from man.
In my life, i know that the service of my parents and what we are doing as  a family is not forgotten. like the mountain, You heap up every good thing and obedience of Your people and look on them with favor in return. You are a great and faithful God, loving a thousand generations for the faithfulness of one (Deut 5:10)

Promise: My faith, my service is not in vain.

Command: Always go up to the mountain of God, (that is His presence).

Warning:

Application: There was a time that I was wayward -totally out of control, because of my 1st and only boyfriend before my husband (only by phone), he was a foreigner. And at that time, I have been the most disobedient child in my eyes because of him. I knew I brought a lot of pain for my parents but I still insisted. Times passed and people who used to look-up to me were cursing me because of my disobedience, I started to walked away from everybody. Then, problems came, telephone bills in my Mom's name, and another pastor in our office came, and it was hundreds of thousands!!!!!!!???!! I was so shocked and was shaking from my feet up, I knew I did not have any face to look up to God, I was so ashamed of myself.. But then I prayed, Lord remember the service of my parents, forgive me and make me a way out of this mess. And the Lord is really faithful, praise God I got out of the problem and learned BIG time!!!!!! Thank You Lord!

My Rock

Text: 2 Samuel 20-22

Rhema Verse: 2 Samuel 22:2-3. He said:
“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior—
from violent people you save me.

Promise: i can always depend my whole life and the life of my whole family to God. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Proverbs 30:5 “Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.

Command: take refuge in God alone.

Warning: without God everything is meaningless.

Application: Lord, i have been recalling all the struggles we have encountered as a family. all the lessons learned that costed a lot of money, all the people who robbed and did bad things to us, all the people we helped along the way, the promises that already happened and those that we are getting ready for.. All I can say God,, You are truly sooooo sooo soooo good to us! You are a just God, and Your beauty is incomparable to any beautiful thing or person in this world. Your ways are perfect Lord. Thank you for loving us, thank you for giving Your life to us.

Interferer

Text: 2 Samuel 17-19

Rhema Verse: 2 Samuel 19:21-22
Then Abishai son of Zeruiah said, “Shouldn’t Shimei be put to death for this? He cursed the Lord ’s anointed.”
22 David replied, “What does this have to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah? What right do you have to interfere? Should anyone be put to death in Israel today? Don’t I know that today I am king over Israel?”

Message: A lot of times a leader's mind is different from it's subordinates. And because Joab, Abishai the sons of Zeruiah were David's commanders they have thought that they could control the King's affairs. And it was a wake up call what right do you have to interfere?

Promise: My leaders were God's anointed.

Command: Learn to follow commands. Learn to obey and submit.

Warning: kapag nagfefeeling leader pumapalpak- like Joab.

Application: there were many times nabubutata ako, kasi when I have an Idea I become so excited and I tend to forgot I have leaders in charge of me. Lord teach me how to submit and obey, to learn to wait to be asked if i have inputs. Teach me to listen intently before speaking, so that I may gain wisdom LORD.

A Way

Text: 2 Samuel 14-16

Rhema Verse: 2 Samuel 14:14
Like water spilled on the ground, which cannot be recovered, so we must die. But that is not what God desires; rather, he devises ways so that a banished person does not remain banished from him.

Message: When men who fell on sin dies, it is like a water spilled on earth- it is unrecoverable. It is appointed for a man to die once and then the judgment. BUT that is not what GOD desires, He devised a way to set us free by believing in His Only Son - Jesus Christ who died for our sins and provided atonement for all my sins.

Promise: God will make a way where it seems to be no way. He always make a way for me.

Command: believe in Jesus

Warning: Eternal banishment for those who does not believe on Jesus

Application: Lord thank You for the Only Way you have provided - hindi siya super hirap gawin, I dont need to be the greatest, or the richest person on earth para maligtas but I ONLY need to believe and follow Jesus. Thank you Holy Spirit for always guiding us, and teaching us the grace of God. Lord, teach me the art of winning souls, so people may come to know Your plan of salvation through me.

Framed

Text: 2 Samuel 10-13

Rhema Verse: 2 Samuel 13:30
While they were on their way, the report came to David: “Absalom has struck down all the king’s sons; not one of them is left.”

Message: Ang tsismis laging nauuna sa totoong balita. And David was so shocked by the news and was disturbed greatly, buti na lang wala siyang heart attack. It is definitely not worth to listen to man, but I must always learn to listen to God.

What God had foretold about the consequences for David's sin regarding Bathsheba came to pass. But even though these happen, David all the more clung to God.

Promise: 1. Man's word divide, GOD's Word unites. 2. There's no problem too big that God can not handle

Command: Listen to God always

Warning: sin brings regrets and consequences

Application: As I recalled with my husband my sins regarding my ex-boyfriend/phone pal for 5 years. It reminded me of all the consequences I gave myself and my family. The phone bills that caused me panic, I trembled greatly for the first time in my life, when I first saw it. I experienced many turn downs from people I tried to borrow money from, just so I could cover up my sins. I was greatly humiliated, and I tried to ran away from home. Thank you Lord you got me through those tough times. It was so hard to be in disobedience, and being in the life of a teenager ;) praise the Lord He taught me alot and that incident brought me to my husband ;)

All According To Plan

Text: 2 Samuel 5-9

Rhema Verse: 2 Samuel 9:3 The king asked, “Is there no one still alive from the house of Saul to whom I can show God’s kindness?” Ziba answered the king, “There is still a son of Jonathan; he is lame in both feet.”

Message: Mephiboshet must have many questions in his mind: why was he lame on both feet, why did the crown was taken from his family, why was he an orphan, why did he went through all the humiliations he had gone through, kaya tingin niya sa sarili niya dead dog. But one thing is evident and will remain true, GOD wants to show His kindness to him. God even want to fulfill the vow of friendship made through Jonathan and David. God wanted to display to Israel his grace (David was King Saul's mortal enemy, yet David took care of his grandson and gave back everything they had)

Promise: GOD is in control of every situation in my life. HE knows the BEST for me...
The LORD says, For I know the plans the I have for You, a plan to prosper you and not to harm you. A plan to give you hope and a future. Jer 29:11

Command: Go with the flow

Warning: if you don't see God in your every situation you will be a "dead dog" 2Sam 9:8

Application: I've learned that wallowing in self pity is definitely not humility, and it is not from the Lord. LORD teach me to be always mindful of what You do for me. Thank You Lord for every situation in my life is according to Your plan.

Go Up

Text: 2 Samuel 1-4

Rhema Verse: 2 Samuel 2:1 In the course of time, David inquired of the Lord. “Shall I go up to one of the towns of Judah?” he asked. The Lord said, “Go up.” David asked, “Where shall I go?” “To Hebron,” the Lord answered.

Message: David always inquire of the Lord. he was already successful and famous, yet GOD wants him to go UP!!! To not settle, to always learn, to always take from God's provision, God's presence, to experience MORE of HIM everyday, to go always HIGHER! Sometimes, God put challenges in our life like: situations, obstacles, problems to point us to the right direction. So, when we are facing these, listen carefully to the game-master.

Hebron is a place where GREAT men were laid to rest (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, etc.). GOD wants to use His people to their highest potential, because GOD wants to show us up. HE is a GOD of excellency, of acceleration; He is magnanimous and powerful, what an awesome GOD You are, Lord!!!

Promise: God can take me higher, He will always make a way for me, so my destiny will be fulfilled.

Command: Go higher! Do not be contented.

Warning: Complacency kills

Application: My Dad is a great challenger, pero kapag nagcha-challenge siya, sigurado masasaktan ka muna, sa 1st impression akala mo mayabang siya talaga. That is his way, some people do not understand, pero marami ng nagbago ang buhay at yumaman when they do. I know my dad is God's instrument and he will change many lives for the glory of God.

LORD, turuan mo ako to be always sensitive sa mga "situations" ng aking buhay, to see YOU in every areas, obstacles in my life; to see, that YOU are waiting for me in the Finish line my loving Father. Make me grow, make me stronger so You can use me mightily for Your glory. All I am is Yours God.

Wait For It.... Wait For It...

Text: Psalm 106-108

Rhema Verse: Psalms 106:13
But they soon forgot what he had done
and did not wait for his plan to unfold.

Message: GOD saved Israel from Egypt's slavery, but even though they rebellled on God sa Red Sea pa lang; still God revealed HIS love and awesome power by dividing it and covering their adversaries. God promised the Land of flowing milk and honey but they needed to go through the process - walk on the dessert for forty days. but they did not wait for His great plan to unfold, they rebelled on the Lord until it took them 40 years to reach it.

Promise: God's plan for me is super duper duper ganda! Its beyond words to compare, it is more than what I could imagine. NO eyes has seen, no ear has heard whatnGod has conceived for me

Command: Wait for it... Wait for it.... Wait for it for it will SURELY come

Warning: tatagal proseso kapag nagmadali

Application: LORD thank you for G-12 at natututo po kami na sumunod sa process, thank you Lord for Your plans and ways are perfect. There may be times na medyo parang maiinip, but I know Lord You are teaching us patience and total reliance. thank You Lord!

Faithful God

Text: Psalm 103-105

Rhema Verse: Psalms 105:8-10
He remembers his covenant forever,
the promise he made, for a thousand generations, the covenant he made with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac. He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree,
to Israel as an everlasting covenant:

Message: God is faithful, and He is sovereign, omnipotent, omnipresent, knows no ends, HE never forgets. If a man promise something, kapag nagawa niya na ung promise sa isang tao, for example financial aid or blessing paliit na ng paliit yun until makatayo na mag-isa ung pinangakuan niya and then stop. Pero si Lord kakaiba, progressive God, pataas ng pataas pa ang level: from a promise- he made a covenant to Abraham, when Abraham died - he swore an oath to Abraham's son Isaac - now a decree or law to the 3rd generation Jacob - at lalo super duper grabe pa sa generation ko ngaun! Halleluijah!!

Promise: God is so so faithful. He is not a man that He should lie. He is my forever covenant- oath-taking - decree maker keeping God :) what he promised to Me and my family will SURELY COME TO PASS!!!!

Command: Thank God for His faithfulness and EXPECT!!!

Warning:

Application: LORD, my Yahweh, my covenant keeping God. Thank you for the security and peace that I hold through Your prophecy, and by the Word you have spoken that I read everyday. GOD thank you for Your faithfulness, thank you for every prophecy you have given will SURELY come to pass for my parents, my sisters, brothers, my husband, my children, for me, for the companies, for the churches of PSEJ. LORD thank you for we can depend on Your word, for YOU NEVER forget, YOU always do what You said You will do. I love You Lord.

Discipline

Text: Psalms 94- 102

Rhema Verse: Psalms 94:12-13a
Blessed is the one you discipline, Lord,
the one you teach from your law; you grant them relief from days of trouble...

Message: The Lord disciplines those He loves. A loving father disciplines his own children, mapalo, mapagalitan at mapaalalahanan; pero hindi niya pwedeng pakialamanan ang anak ng iba unless they let him. The Word of the Lord is my manual, the Holy Spirit is my guide.

Promise: God disciplines me because I am His own. God disciplines me so I could become a Leader of leader to change the nation.

Command: Submit and obey to the Loving Father

Warning:

Application: When we were kids sagana kami sa sermon at palo, my lola always say that when I grow older I will thank her because of it. And I surely did! My friends who did not experienced the discipline I received, grew up weak and not successful. But Lord, mas higit ang pagmamahal Mo sa akin kesa sa pamilya ko, and You know my past, present and future so I will trust in You. The troubles that we are having is a way for us to be disciplined, and I know You have prepared great things, and we will overcome these, because our DNA is -MORE THAN CONQUEROR, a Leader of Leaders.

Look What The Lord Has Done

Text: Psalm 78-81

Rhema Verse: Psalms 78:70-71
He chose David his servant
and took him from the sheep pens; from tending the sheep he brought him to be the shepherd of his people Jacob, of Israel his inheritance.

Message: Ang saya maglook back, and reminisce the good old days, and be amazed on what the LORD has done for those who believed in Him. David was just a shepherd, but GOD raised him up to be a shepherd of His great nation. He was seemed low, unwise, unskilled by people when he was you g, especially he was looked down by his family kasi hindi siya favorite. But God chose him, raised him up to be the greatest King in the history of Israel.

Promise: God can use the lowest of the low to shame the wise, to show Himself strong and mighty! GOD will do amazing, great things in my life HE will make me A LEADER OF LEADERS!!!!

Command: Rely on the LORD! Look at what the LORD has done!

Warning: kung sa tao ka titingin kung ano tingin niya sa iyo, bababa ang tingin mo sa sarili mo. (Like Goliath's mockery)

Application: Today we went to Nueva Ecija and we saw where we used to live, I was amazed how God has taken us from the lowest of the low to where we are now and there are many promised good things to come pa. I saw the streets where Marissa and I used to sell biko, hiyang-hiya kami at umiiyak while shouting, "Biko! Bili kayo biko!!" kasi nga wala kaming pambaon at gusto namin makatulong sa aming parents.
GOD, I am so amazed at Your faithfulness, sino ba kami para mahalin at pillin mo, itaas at ipagmalaki ng ganito? kaya Panginoon sa anomang sitwasyon, turuan mo ang puso ko na laging nagpapasalamat sa dakilang kabutihan Mo. We will put our trust in You Lord, we will always declare LORD YOU ARE GOOD, YOU ARE OUR GOD!!! Sa problema, karamdaman man o pagpapala pupurihin namin at dadakilain ang Pangalan Mo!

God Is The Strength Of My Heart

Text: Psalms 72-77
Rhema Verse:  Psalms 73:16-17
When I tried to understand all this,
it troubled me deeply, till I entered the sanctuary of God; then I understood their final destiny.

Message: The Psalmist Asaph was deeply disturbed, and he almost slipped (nagback-slide ata!) when he envied the arrogant and the wealth of the wicked. Sometimes, when people lose focus on God at nagkaroon ng financial problems napapatingin sa buhay ng ibang tao, and then they compare and forgot (for a little while) what they really have- GOD, the creator and giver of all. Good thing he went in to search for God, he went into the presence of the Lord and was restored.

Promise: Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Command: Do not envy the wicked!

Warning: Focusing on worldly wealth bring destruction.

Application: Three years ago, there was a time I envied a person I know. He was a bully, and an unbeliever, but he acquired wealth kahit na wala siyang tinapos and he doesn't have any business background, tapos kami naman madaming problems at utang. Naside-track ako, and I begun to pity my life. Good thing I have a husband who stick by me and gave me words of wisdom from God. we prayed together and asked for a blessing, for a minute there I seemed to forgot kung kaynino nanghihingi ng lahat ng bagay. Thank You Lord for the FRAME, You always bring us back to where we belong- we belong to YOU GOD!

Father To The Fatherless

Text: Psalm 67-71

Rhema Verse: Psalms 68:5
A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.

Message: GOD is defender of the weak, and defenseless. He is the Great Father in heaven who cares about every aspect of my life. Research shows, that a young person who did not see a father figure in life, ends up with a miserable life -worst a criminal.

Promise: God gave me a great Dad on earth; moreover that, I have a GREAT and PERFECT Father in heaven. Spoiled ako sa Diyos ko! ;)

Command: Always come to the Great Father in heaven!

Warning:

Application: I have a great Dad, a mentor, best friend, a pastor and my boss. I can ask him anything I want especially kapag may lambing sa dulo ;) I am blessed with a great dad.  I have a cousin who did not see any father image in his life, my Dad took care of him, pero iba talaga ung hinahanap niya- he needed his own father and mother. i knew na hirap na hirap siya and the Lord gave me a burden for this kind of generation. He prophesied we will build a City for Children. nung una kong nadinig un I couldn't believe it kasi ayaw ko ng bata. But The Lord has put the vision in my heart when we had our own kids. It is very different kapag ang bata napalaki ng may pagmamahal at appreciation, my kids were so blessed to have a family who loves the Lord.

Stand A Solid Rock

Text: Psalm 58-66

Rhema Verse: Psalms 61:2-3
From the ends of the earth I call to you,
I call as my heart grows faint;
lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge,
a strong tower against the foe.

Message: Whenever the Israel sacrifice animals to God they put it on a Rock. When King David was fleeing away from King Saul, he hid himself and his army inside the Rock/caves. When Moses, Elijah and other prophets wanted to speak with God, they went on top of the mountains- also a rock. Jesus said, if we want to have a house built in a very strong foundation, build it on a rock.

King David knew that the Rock in whom he is standing is a solid rock. he had a solid foundation and a knowledge whom God is. He tested God's strength and love for him that is why He is successful and he served God with all of his heart, soul and mind.

Promise: JESUS is the Rock of my salvation. My strong tower and my deliverance!

Command: Remember the Rock in which I stand is -- JESUS!

Warning:

Application: Holy Spirit, I need You Lord. Please always remind me that JESUS is the rock on whom I should always stand, any 'ground' or anyone else is just sinking sand. Lord teach me to not even rely on my own strength but YOurs alone. In times of difficulties You are my strong Tower, in You I am safe and secure.

There's Nothing To Worry About

Text: Psalms 50- 57

Rhema Verse: Psalms 53:4-5  "Do all these evildoers know nothing? They devour my people as though eating bread; they never call on God. But there they are, overwhelmed with dread, where there was nothing to dread. God scattered the bones of those who attacked you; you put them to shame, for God despised them.

Message: No anyone can add a single hour to life especially by worrying. Worrying causes stress, stress causes diseases and those diseases cause death, then will give more stress to the next generation of stressors. If a person relies on God, he/she will see na wala naman talagan dapat ikabahala. Just like what we always ask each other kapag nababahala, "kelan ka ba pinabayaan ng Diyos?!" And then we will realize NEVER pa akong napabayaan ng Lord.

Promise: If God provided for the birds in the air and the grass in the fields, mas lalo na sa AKIN kasi He loves me so much that He gave Jesus for me. THere is NOTHING to be worried about.

Command: Do not Worry!!!

Warning: God hates worriers. It displays lack of faith.

Application: Lord thank You for Your faithfulness. Whenever we look back we can not recall ANY time that you forgot us. It is very true that  You will NEVER leave me or forsake me. thank You Lord! Thank you for when I call on Your name, You are always there. You answer more than what I have prayed for. thank You God for I know that we can depend on You alone!

We Will Not Fear

Text: Psalm 42-49

Rhema Verse: Psalms 46:1-3. "God is our refuge and strength, an ever- present help in trouble.  Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging."

Message: There will be rumors of war,
earthquake, tsunami, and many more; this must happen before the end will come. But Jesus commanded DO NOT FEAR!

Promise: I stand on a SOLID Rock- Jesus!

Command: Do not fear!

Warning:

Application: Y2k made alot of people crazy. My parents were advised by many people to sell all our possessions and hide because the end will come. But my Parents know the Word of God that Jesus will come like a "thief in the night" -no one knows when.

Pay Debt

Text: Psalm 36-41

Rhema Verse: Psalms 37:21  The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously

Psalms 37:25-26
I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be a blessing.

Message: The righteous will live by faith and total reliance on God. The wicked will borrow but do not repay, kasi nga wicked =) Hala! Ang hindi pala nagbabayad ng utang wicked! ;)

It's very hard to rely on my own strength or the strength of others, because man is only man- very limited.

Promise: I am generous and lend freely, my children will be a blessing!

Command: Give generously. Lend money to the poor without interest; Psalms 15;4-5

Warning: Don't lend to the wicked, kasi walang bayad.

Application: We lend to the wicked millions of dollars without us knowing, then the wicked did not pay. Good thing Our business was established by God, and up to now, without God's favor and provision it is impossible for an accountant to declare it not bankrupt. But GOD is our final WORD and authority. Everyday we see the Lord's provision and directions kung paano makawala sa utang and be wise like a serpent and humble like a dove.

Be A FROG

Text: Psalm 30-35

Rhema Verse: Psalms 34:19, 22
The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the Lord delivers him from them all;
The Lord will rescue his servants;
no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.

Message: King David was a successful man, but he definitely experienced many problems. His secret was- he is always depending on the Lord (FROG- Fully Rely On God). In times of problems and difficulties He depended on the Lord. He said, "I will extol the Lord at ALL TIMES, his praise will ALWAYS be on my lips, let the afflicted hear and rejoice (Psalms 34). The more He experience troubles, the more King David sees his problems were solved by God; and the more he gets to testify and praise the Lord.

Promise: God is so faithful. He will always deliver me from ANY trouble. GOD is my SOLUTION in EVERY problem.

Command: Be a FROG! (Fully Rely On God)

Warning: relying on myself or someone else, will bring more problems.

Application: God, I praise you! For since that we went through Your process and do our devo, You are teaching us the secret to success- to be a FROG. LORD, teach us more. To feel that you are always with us NO MATTER WHAT problems or difficulties ahead, gives us joy and hope. I am so blessed to have a GOD like You. Lord, teach me the art of winning souls for Jesus. I want them to experience this kind of joy, this peace. you are showing me many people roaming around, having their problems without solution, and You want to reach out to them also. GOD send me! Teach me Lord I pray.

The Exchange

Text: Psalms 22-29
Rhema Verse: Psalms 22:16b, 18
"....they pierce my hands and my feet. They divide my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment.

Message: God revealed to King David the prophecy for the King of kings and the Lord of lords- Jesus Christ. The pain and agony, and the humiliation of the son of God. After Jesus received the 39 lashes, blood was oozing out from his torn out body and they clothed him so he can carry the heavy cross on his shoulder. At kung kelan nakadikit na ang damit dahil sa dugo, they took it off and placed him on the cross naked. They divided his clothes and casted lots (pinagpustahan) on his garment because it was seamless and it was very expensive at his time. I have read an article that Jesus was not a beggar on earth, he was rich, he was the son of "the carpenter", a contractor/ builder but he exchanged EVERYTHING for the call.

Promise: 1. God had in mind His plan of salvation even before the time of Adam and Eve.  2. Jesus loved me so much, He made a GREAT exchange for my salvation. 3. Every prophecy has it's definite perfect timing.

Command: Do not forget the price Jesus paid for the great exchange, share it!

Warning:

Application: Lord may I always be mindful of the price you paid for my salvation. Teach me the art of winning God. Teach me to display Your Glory not just by words, but in actions and by my family's life.

Sweeter Than Honey

Text: Psalms 17-21

Rhema Verse: Psalms 19:10  They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb.

Message: The Word of God is sweeter than honey... I remember Jonathan when King Saul bound his entire army on oath not to eat anything while they were traveling and fighting armies (1 Samuel 14:24). The people became so so weak, so distressed, fainted, unfocused. But Jonathan; his son, not aware of the oath saw some honey and barely tasted it with the tip of his staff. He started to feel his eyes brightened and strengthened. That was just a simple and small amount of honey. Reading the Word of God everyday, does great wonders in one's life: it gives strength, direction, motivation, hope, joy, wisdom, blessings and so much more.

Promise: When I read the Word of God it refreshes the soul, it makes wise the simple, it gives joy to the heart, and light to the eye (19:7-8).

Command: Read and meditate the Word of God

Warning: The whole army of Israel and King Saul fell into a great sin because they did not eat honey (hear, obey and read the word of the Lord)

Application: Thank you Lord for now I experience the sweetest thing I could ever do in life. It is to stay in Your presence, meditating Your word everyday through my devo. it did not just change me but it change my whole family, church, and company as well. You are FOREVER faithful Lord. and now we can see that this is the start of the great things You have promised for Your people in JNRM and PSEJ. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be always pleasing to Your sight. Thank you Lord!

Flawless And Tested

Text: Psalms 7- Psalms 16

Rhema Verse: Psalms 12:6
And the words of the Lord are flawless,
like silver purified in a crucible,
like gold refined seven times.

Message: God's word is flawless, pure and refined seven times, it is tested and true because the Author is faithful. Every promises He made came to pass before, and even up to now. God wants to do great things in my life that is why He test us like silver and refine us in crucible. A crucible is a rough vessel na kailangang daanan to purify a metal para maging precious, and interestingly it is shaped like a cross. The more finer it gets, the more precious it will become. That is my life, and the life of those who trust and rely on God. Even though trials come, the Cross- Jesus will never leave my side. as Jesus conquered His crucible, I will conquer mine and be refined because I am precious in his sight! I am PSEJ Precious Souls in the Eyes of Jesus, a nation's conqueror! ;)

Promise: God's Word is the final authority in my life, it is tested, pure and trustworthy.

Command: Be refined! (kantahin) I am here to buy gold refined in the fire, naked and pure wretched and blind I come. Clothe me in white so I wont be ashamed Lord light the fire again.

Warning: Do not trust on man's word for they are ever changing! Only trust God, for He is not like men..

Application: As Rammel and I were on Cebu we kept on talking about Mordecai and Job in our devo. We have found a new kind of prayer, We write a decree in the air, and sign it with our name, in behalf of the name of our King-Jesus, signed with our God-given signet ring and sealed with the Blood of the Lamb. We decreed salvation in the whole clan of Larrobis. And God created a problem to arise in their house and He used that again so our brother and sister listened to the Word of God. Sabi ko kasi sa assignment ko sa plenary we didnt have the chance to follow them up before because of the distance, kaya parang mahirap mag-enter ulit. But when God moves, Wow grabe!!! i know that the decree of salvation is a prayer na hindi nasasayang as I learned in SOL 2. Thank You Lord!

Wait Expectantly

Text: Job 41-Psalm 6

Rhema Verse: Psalms 5:3  In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.

Message: Prayer with expectation is the source of the greatest miracles in life. It shows a childlike faith to the Father in heaven. Why in the morning? Because in the morning, people are faced with great troubles or tasks for the whole day, umaga pa lang nangangarag na! That is why I need to choose God first, before any commotions or plans. So the Lord will give me peace and success the whole day.

Promise: Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. Psalms 5:12

Command: Do devo in the morning, Pray & wait expectantly!

Warning: Everything I do is in vain if I do not wait expectantly on God.

Application: I have learned that praying is not enough if I do not have faith, that God will give me what i ask and more! I have learned the best tips on praying while on our Post Encounter at History Maker, and my prayer was not the same after that: 1.  I need to feel/ know/ picture-out and believe that the Lord is listening. 2.  That when I pray I enter a 'zone' of God's presence or God's table, and HE is listening. I need to picture out an Abba Father and feel and know that I am His Beloved. I need to wait expectantly, because God will surely give the best for me.

God's Endowment

Date: Sept 5, 2012
Text: Job 37-40

Rhema Verse: Job 39:17
for God did not endow her with wisdom
or give her a share of good sense.

Message: For one to be successful in life we need wisdom. God is the ONLY source of everything, every good and perfect gift comes from Him, and He is a giver not a taker..
The LORD made an ostrich an example, He did not endow it with wisdom and a good sense. A person does not have wisdom if:
Maangas! Mayabang!
It does not take pride of what he has- offspring/ children/ resources
Treat successor harshly, without love

Promise: 1. Every good and perfect gift comes from God.
2. I can ask anything in the name of Jesus and He will give it so my joy will be complete!
3.  If God has given the BEST He has - His ONLY Beloved Son- JESUS, how much more anything for His glory. Yehey!!!

Command: Seek the giver of wisdom!

Warning:

Application: Lord thank you for the example of Job, through this book I have learned that everything- what my mouth confesses, what people say in front of me, people who hates me (kung meron man) the world's situation, the blessings coming my way it ALL came from You. Everything comes from You. Wala kaming pwedeng ibigay or ipagmalaki kasi po lahat nanggaling sa Inyo. Lord thank you for loving me this much, thank you God! I love you Lord! Teach me more..

God Speaks

Date: Sept 4, 2012
Text: Job 33-36

Rhema Verse: Job 33:14-17 "For God does speak —now one way, now another — though no one perceives it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they slumber in their beds, he may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings, to turn them from wrongdoing and keep them from pride.

Message: God speaks in more ways than one. Most of the time, people think that the way God speaks is through a loud, frightening, earth-shaking, breath-taking voice; just like when Israel first heard him at Mount Sinai. Job wants to reason with God, but he was waiting for The God who spoke at Mount Sinai, he did not count his visitors as God's spokesman. God speaks in different ways, through a still-small-voice, prophets, visions, dreams, the Word of God, situation in life, parents, friends, even strangers, well actually God can use anything including animals- in the case of Balaam and Jonah.

Promise: My God is a God who speaks and listens to me intently.

Command: Listen to the voice of God.

Warning:

Application: There was a time when I was like Job, I questioned God about a situation in my life and there was a great mighty voice that I heard and it caused me to tremble with fear and reverence. God said, "did you make the stars? can you even count them? did you make this and that". And He Made himself known to me... There was so much authority in His voice and what He said that i dropped on the floor and all I can say was, "I'm sorry Lord, You are right I am wrong". I haven't read the book of Job at that time, and when I read it I was so happy, kasi May kamukha pala ako! I thank God that was the first time napagalitan ako, all throughout then, God spoke to me as the most sweetest voice I've ever heard.

Works = Faith?

Text: Job 30-32

Rhema Verse: Job 31:35 (“Oh, that I had someone to hear me! I sign now my defense—let the Almighty answer me; let my accuser put his indictment in writing.

Message: Job was already righteous, more than any other mortal sa mundong ibabaw sa good works pa lang wala ng papalag! That is why even God speaks highly of him, "Nakita mo ba si Job?" But we have this one accuser, and the devil wanted to try Job; "do this, do that, maybe if you take this, or that he will stop worshipping you". This accuser was stopped when Jesus came, kasi good works was not enough. for all of us who made Jesus our savior and was covered by the blood of the Holy lamb, we were atoned by the Most High Priest, not a once-a-year atonement but once and for all. Jesus conquered sin and grave. He was raised up, as the victorious Messiah, seated on the right hand of God in heaven. Now the Holy Spirit, our mentor and advocate, my intercessor who always pleads for my case teaches us to please God, not just by works, but by faith that works!

Promise: I am MORE THAN A CONQUEROR because Christ loved me! Rom 8:37
NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME WILL PROSPER and you will refute every tongue that accuses me. Isaiah 54:17

Command: Shut off the devil's mouth by the blood of Jesus and His finished work!!

Warning: not relying on Jesus finished work will be forever working, by works that is not workable.

Application: I am a workaholic person, a perfectionist feeling ko ako lang magaling, i can do things better if they would just let me be, and do my "stuff"! I always compete kahit walang competition. I always like to see myself always at my best kasi akala ko dun ako mamemeasure ng Lord, but all of those times I still have the empty feeling- Now I know that it is the voice of the Holy Spirit telling me that what Im doing is technically not right. At kadalasan naman sa aking pagka-okok sumesemplang ako, kaya I am really really really thankful for knowing the message of the grace through the Holy Spirit. When I learned that it is not by my performance, but by Christ, I understand that I needed to rely everything to God. It does not stop me from doing good but doing better for Him. I learned, I do not need to compete with others; most especially compete with myself, because I know now that I am accepted by Christ. Kaya Siya namatay para sa akin, because I am His beloved, He loved me even when I am a sinner and so imperfect. Ang sarap Mong magmahal Lord!

The Most Treasured Treasure

Text: Job 24-29

Rhema Verse: Job 28:28 And he said to the human race, “The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.”

Message: Where does wisdom can be found? In Job 28 wisdom was compared as more than all the precious things in this world combined- gold, treasures. Interestingly, it was compared to an elusive person, that Only God knows where it can be found v23. True Wisdom is the Holy Spirit of the Living God, it is a divine persona of the Trinity. When the Holy Spirit is upon flesh, He reveals the secret things of God, He teaches us the will of the Father, He gives wisdom and teaches understanding as I study the Word, He gives me the fear of the Lord and understanding. Knowing and relying on the Holy Spirit fully, will show the full Glory of Jesus finished work, and the Father's love.

Promise: 1.   The Advocate- the Holy Spirit, whom the Father sent in Jesus name, will teach me all things and will remind me of everything Jesus have said. John 14:26
2.  I have the greatest treasure - the Holy Spirit: my wisdom, my understanding, my joy, my strength, my best friend.

Command: Rely on God's wisdom-the Holy Spirit.

Warning:

Application: Since I was a child I've always wanted to gain wisdom, I knew it was different from knowledge and understanding, mas mataas ang level niya. Kaya lang nahirapan ako unawain ung -fear of the Lord. I have always thought that fear of the Lord is matakot ka talaga sa Diyos, kasi nakakatakot Siya, He is a God who punishes and hates sin. That all changed when I found the message of grace six years ago. I was in a deep shame of sin of lust of the mind kahit na Christian ako, nobody knew it Only God did, even though I did not DO anything with anybody, I condemn myself, it was a never-ending battle that most of the time I lose. But when I found out the message of grace what Christ had suffered for me so I can be victorious over my past, present, future sin, and not by works. I had this great feeling of love for God, a revelation of the Cross. That I am a great victor. And that led me to be free from that bondage. Then I learned the meaning of the fear of the Lord- it is not dahil natatakot ka na maparusahan, it is bec natatakot ka na masaktan yung sobrang nagmahal sa Iyo. It was the start of a total change for me. Thank you Holy Spirit!
