The Covenant

DAY 155
Chinese Gen Hospital
TEXT: Numbers 7-8

Rhema Verse: When Moses entered the tent of meeting to speak with the Lord, he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the atonement cover on the ark of the covenant law. In this way the Lord spoke to him.

MESSA         MESSAGE: in the Old Testament the LORD can only be heard by God's prophets, and in the time of Moses the LORD spoke to him in between the cherubs in the Ark of the Covenant. Second hand revelation did not entirely work for God's people because they misinterpret or did not have a close relationship with God. Praise the LORD, JESUS came for us. When Jesus died on the cross for us, he unveiled God to us. At the tomb when He rose from the dead two cherubs were opposite of his grave (john 20:12, Luke 24:4), it symbolizes the cherubs in the atonement cover of the Ark. Jesus tore the veil and became our atonement cover for our sins! Halleluijah!
Now we came to see God face to face and and hear God's voice through the Holy Spirit every second of the day! Thank you Holy Spirit, you are welcome in our lives!

PROMISE: Jesus Christ sacrifice ONCE and for All! Jesus is my righteousness!

COMMAND: RECEIVE the grace of God. (charis- beauty, unexplainable love, unmerited favor, the gift of God freely given for those who believe Jesus)
WARNING: Do not earn righteousness, RECEIVE!
AP
APPLICATION: thank you Lord for your grace. Dati kasi after receiving the gift of salvation we always hear sermons in the church about holiness being done by people, but i knowin myself i cannot be holy kasi ang dami kong palpak and then condemnation sets-in and the more I try to merit myself to be a deserving child of God the more I fail and felt more condemned. Yan ang hirp with second hand teaching. I PRaise God i was open to the grace teaching the real meaning of the New Covenant (Heb 8) and being open to the Word of God, it came SO Alive and now i understand the meaning of the Old Testament and the New. Thank you Jesus!
