The Prophecy

Day 158

Text: Numbers 23 – 26    

Rhema Verse: Numbers 24:17 “I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel. He will crush the foreheads of Moab, the skulls of all the people of Sheth.

Message: Wow! Prophecies came from the Spirit of God. And it is very, very, very important; because the Bible is composed of prophecies of  the Messiah, the King of Kings, and the Son of God -Jesus Christ. It gives very, very crucial confirmation that Jesus walked the earth and my faith in Him is real and tangible as the earth, heaven and hell.

I was so amazed when I read the prophecy of Balaam when the Spirit of God (the Holy Spirit today) came upon him and he prophesied against Israel's enemies it was 1,580 years before Jesus came on earth. He said:

“I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near.  spoke about Jesus Christ second coming Rev 1:7 “Look, he is coming with the clouds,” and “every eye will see him, even those who pierced him”;

A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel. The next is a confirmation of Jacob's prophecy He gave to his children when he was about to die and the Spirit of God spoke about Jesus many years ago before the time of Balaam. Gen 49:10 "The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet,,," And then the star that came out when our Messiah was born Matt 2:2.  And then, he will crush the people who were noisy boasters of themselves.

Promise: EVERY WORD of GOD will surely come to pass in my life.. Mark 13:31 Jesus said, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away."

Command: I will Hold on to God's prophecies in my life, even if My situation tells me the other way!

Warning: Do not take God's prophecy and promises for me lightly. 1 Tim 4:14

Application: Lord, I will hold steadfast to Your prophecies for my family, our companies and our ministries. I will entrust to You our lives, for You will remain faithful and is able to complete all the words You have spoken to Your servant. I will boldly declare, that as for me and my house we will serve You as long as we live. For there is NONE like You, nobody loved me like the way You do! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Three Times Is Not A Charm

Day 157

Text: Numbers 20-22

Rhema Verse: Numbers 22:33 "The donkey saw me and turned away from me these three times. If it had not turned away, I would certainly have killed you by now, but I would have spared it.”

Message: There were times I experienced warning signs and I took it lightly, ended up in financial problems in business. Those were the days that I have slight regard with the Word of God, wala pa kami sa G-12 process, hindi pa naexperience mag-devo. Itis very true that if you need success in every area of our lives, GOD must be the main center of it, for His blessings does not have sorrow in it.

Balaam received many warnings from God personaly, God said, "DO NOT GO! You cannot curse who is blessed." He did not go the first time. The second time, the king's officials bait him with handsome rewards v17 ;) (Gaano kaya kahandsome yun?) :D and the Lord who sees the heart of every man tested Balaam, and told him to go 20:20. But on v22 when Balaam came to them God was angry. I wondered why, I asked God. And He told me, He saw Balaam's heart. He was lured by the kings reward, he looked beyond God's provisions, and his heart was after wordly wealth and fame who brings sorrow BIG TIME!

And so, the THREE warnings came from the DONKEY!!!! Mind you, donkey speaking!!! Still he persisted! The angel of the Lord was about to kill Balaam kasi nga makulit, he wanted to see the handsome rewards despite of never-before-seen warnings! My man! Donkey speaking!?!

And there were times I thought that, what I was doing was 100% right, but then God would come to me and put my heart and motives in check. What an awesome God we have! So when there are warnings from God, I learned to listen carefuly because the Lord knows ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. How does God speaks to us?! Through the Bible, through our parents, pastors, donkeys anyone? ;)

Promise: God directs the paths of His people.  Those whom God blessed, cannot be cursed! I am blessed by God!

Command: Open your eyes!!!! Num 22:31

Warning: Be careful not to walk YOUR way, be very careful to ONLY walk God's ways

Application: Today, there was some constant nagging on a decided matter in the office and it has fallen on me. CONSTANT NAGGING on me by a very very important someone I looked up to. Anyways, I was about to think negatively, and be hurt and start to talk back; but the Lord reminded me Balaam. Whoa! Reminders are painful sometimes ;) but thank God for the reminders for it keeps our hearts in tune with God. If Balaam listened to God and relied on it, he shouldnt have faced the reckless road he went into.

The Mediator

DAY 156

Chinese Gen Hospital

TEXT: Numbers 16-19

Rhema Verse: Numbers 16:46 Then Moses said to Aaron, “Take your censer and put incense in it, along with burning coals from the altar, and hurry to the assembly to make atonement for them. Wrath has come out from the Lord; the plague has started.”

MESSAGE: The Levites were bickering about the priesthood, they were not happy being the subordinates, and that they must serve Aaron and his household as high priests. They formed grumblers and was questioning Moses' leadership, not realizing it was God who ordained everything. Because of what they did the plague started at lahat ng daanan nun instant-death! Realizing that God's anger will wipe-out all the Israelites because of their rebellion, Moses told Aaron to take his censer and stand between the living and the dead (14,700 died instantly). And as soon as Aaron did that, the death by plaque stopped instantly, because Aaron ATONED (atonement-reconcile with God) them from their sins.

And it made me wonder, how did Aaron made a peace for the whole Israel by just waving his censer to a doomed-to-death people? Who is Aaron? How did he became the high priest? Is it because he was holy? Certainly not, he even made a golden calf for the Israelite and serve as priest for the calf god. Is it because he was Moses brother? Moses is not moved by politics or by his own decisions but God'. And then the Holy Spirit led me to this Numbers 18:7b God made Aaron the high priest as a GIFT! And the Levites were also a gift made to assist Aaron the high priest and his family (18:2). And this lasting-ordinance gift was not originally made for Aaron, it was because of Aaron's grandson in Num 25:1-13.       

If Aaron could cover the whole Israelites fault or sin as the high priest in the Old Testament, how much more the Son of the Most High God, the Lord Jesus Christ? (Hebrews 5:1-10)

Promise: if we believe and receive the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the most high priest, the gift of salvation and atonement for our sin we will be saved.

PROMISE: Jesus is my righteousness!

COMMAND: Believe and receive

WARNING: if we see ourselves attaining salvation by our works, and not by the gift of grace and Jesus's sacrifice, it is doomed to fail.

APPLICATION: I thank you Lord Jesus for letting me embrace your gift of grace.. Because the Holy Spirit works freely for those who receives freely from You. Thank you so much for Your sacrifice that enables me to stand holy before the LORD. I love you Lord, knowing how much you loved me makes me love you even more, that is why I want to know You and live for You more. Thank you Lord Jesus, for nothing can separate me from Your love, for we are more than conquerors because You loved me.

FORTY DAYS AND FORTY NIGHTS

DAY 157

Chinese Gen Hospital

TEXT: Numbers 9-12

Rhema Verse: Numbers 13:25 At the end of forty days they returned from exploring the land.

MESSAGE: I was fascinated by this number of days. I noticed that forty days was used many times in the Bible; and usualy it starts with a bad report/trials/problem and then a great big BANG! Blessing /power/resolution from God! Whoa! 40 days and forty nights: 

PROBLEM: God send rain 40D/40N in Noah' s time Gen 7:12. 

MIRACLE: After 40D/40N of flood Noah sent out a raven (raven gave bad report) then he sent a dove (dove gave a sign of life on earth - a leaf)   

PROBLEM: 40D/40N Israel was left at the foot of the mountain without it's prophet Moses and they started to doubt, fear and make other gods. 

MIRACLE: Exo 34:28  40D/40N God is giving Moses the ten commandments for Israel's Covenant and after that the New Covenant of Jesus.

PROBLEM: Num 13:25  Bad report from the ten leaders of Israel after the 40D/40N exploration of the very good and fertile promised land of God. 

MIRACLE: Out of the 12 only Joshua and Caled spoke that God can definitely give them and conquer the land soooo big, fortified and full of giants!!! And God gave it to those who believed!!!

PROBLEM: Num 14:34  Israel should have traveled from Egypt to the promised land for only forty days, but because of their unbelief they stayed for forty years. 

MIRACLE: Only the new generation of believers entered.

PROBLEM: 1Sam 17:16 Goliath kept on oppressing the people of Israel 40D/40N and everyone was so afraid and could not eat or sleep. 

MIRACLE: David a shepherd boy, God-fearing was raised up, he believed and was able to defend Israel and became the carrier of the promised savior Jesus.

PROBLEM: 1 Kings 19:8 Prophet Elijah was afraid of Jezebel and he came up to the mountain to hide and pray that he might die, he traveled for 40D/40N  to meet God. 

MIRACLE: He was strengthened and Elijah met God face to face and anointed a king and prophet Elisha.

PROBLEM: Jonah did not want to go to Nineveh and was swallowed by a big fish but then went on to proclaim to Nineveh for 40D/40N that the Lord will destroy them.  Jonah3:4 

MIRACLE: Nineveh listend and repented and the Lord forgave them.

         

PROBLEM: Matt 4:2. Jesus traveled the wilderness for 40D/40N and he was tempted by the devil. But NO PROBLEM. Is big for Jesus. 

MIRACLE: our God will FOREVER reign forever and ever! And After suffering at the cross. Jesus strengthened his disciples for 40D/40N, then the Holy Spirit came to them with power from the Living God up to now!!!!!!

PROMISE: With God NOTHING is impossible! After the rain is the beautiful rainbow (God’s promise)

COMMAND: Keep on believing God and His promises and I will see great miracles

WARNING: If you dwell on the problem and fail to see God's promises you will miss the miracle

APPLICATION: Lord, teach me to always rely on you. To not see the problems or storm in front of me but to see the beauty of the rainbow and the blessings that is instored for me after. Thank you Lord for your faithfulness!!! You are great and sovereign God! There is NONE like You Lord.

No Matter What It Takes

DAY 156

PLACE: Chinese Gen Hospital

TEXT: Numbers 9-12

Rhema Verse: Numbers 9:23 At the Lord ’s command they encamped, and at the Lord ’s command they set out. They obeyed the Lord ’s order, in accordance with his command through Moses

MES               MESSAGE: I picture out 600,000 men not counting women and children with their whole properties, babies, clothes, livestocks, carts. When i have to take my 2 kids somewhere i packed 3 bags for them plus 2 of mine and they say i 'packed my whole house'. How much more a real whole house or tent? Not only that, sometimes the cloud was over the tabernacle only a few days; sometimes the cloud stayed only from evening till morning, and when it lifted in the morning, they get ready, set out and nobody should settle or sabihing dito na lang ako, kasi i just got here, kaka-unpack ko lang! nakakapagod eh! or else they will be left behind and not be under God's coverings and promises (v20-22) Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for two days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out. These have seen the Glory of God and they dont want to live anywhere else but with Him, NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES!!!!

PROMISE: Those who waits and trust on God will be renewed like an eagle, they will run and not go weary, they will walk and not faint.

                                         

CO                 COMMAND: Sugod lang for God!

WARNING: Reklamador gets left behind, kinakain ng lupa! Tsk tsk!

  AP               APPLICATION: Many times before, and 'some' times in the present (Ahem!) i tend to reklamate (REKLAMADOR)  ;) and Lord, i want to change that, I want to be always ready when you need me to be, to settle where you wantme to be so i could just rest in you. Today, we are in the hospital because my eldest daughter was vomiting with blood and thedoctors cant find out what she has, and whenever she cries talgang nawiwindang ako ever! But this is what the Lord impresses me, trust and rely on His promises and His GREAT UNFATHOMABLE LOVE for us. Thank you Lord!
