OVERFLOWING OFFERING

DAY 72

TEXT: Exo 35-37

Rhema Verse: Exodus 36:6b-7 “…And so the people were restrained from bringing more, because what they already had was more than enough to do all the work.”

MESSAGE: Wow! The people brought MORE THAN  ENOUGH for the building of the LORD’s church! What an amazing sight, people bringing freewill offerings morning after mornings! At dun pa nagreklamo ang mga workers!! Moses even gave on order for the people to stop giving!!! Whoa! I declare mangyayari YAN sa church of PSEJ!

              The people of Israel gave, because they realized it is the LORD who brought them out from slavery, poverty, pain, terrible destruction from their sins, it is the LORD who brought them out of Egypt. Imagine these Egyptian’s slaves, poor and broken people, but they were able to give and gather altogether: Gold – 1 metric ton, Silver-3.4 metric tons, bronze-2.4 metric tons, precious stones & gems, yarns, etc! And they have more to give, only Moses stopped them!

              But today, the LORD made me realized that HE gave the BEST offering for me, HE is the best of HEAVEN, GOD gave his very precious and ONLY Son – JESUS.

PROMISE: It is JESUS who offered HIS life for me and save me from the slavery of sin, shame, destruction, poverty, lack and eternal damnation from hell.

COMMAND: Give to the LORD my savior, redeemer and friend to be used for His Kingdom expansion, the Great Commission.

WARNING: Do not come to the LORD empty-handed.

APPLICATION: We need to see that the LORD is the Creator of ALL things. GOD is a giver, He gave His ONLY Son for me, the BEST Heaven has – JESUS; because GOD loves me. GOD doesn’t need our money!!! HE OWNS EVERYTHING!!! But He does want us to be like Him, a giver! So we need to give and love. For HE first gave and loved us!
