BLINDED BY PROBLEMS
Date: July 1, 2013.
Text: Gen. 44-46, Luke 18
Rhema Verse: Genesis 45:8. So it was God who sent me here, not you! And he is the one who made me an adviser to Pharaoh—the manager of his entire palace and the governor of all Egypt.
Luke 18:41. “What do you want me to do for you?” “Lord,” he said, “I want to see!”
Message: Many times when people face problems they get blinded by the situation and starts to panic, especially for a melancholic like me. But it is God who gives wisdom to see beyond what is happening, and what He is doing, just like in the time of Joseph. But it was clear that even though I could be in panic, distressed or drowning in my self-inflicted anxiousness, I could ask God like the blind beggar in the street to 'see'. See God's promises of salvation prepared for me.
Promise: God is always asking and waiting to do wonders for me. "What do you want me to do for you?"
Ask everything in my name, and my Father will give it to you so your joy will be complete -Jesus. John 14:13
Command: When facing challenges, Stop-Look-Listen just like the blind beggar. Stop your negative thoughts, Look at what God is preparing, Listen to His directions.
Warning: Being blinded by too many negative thoughts and fearing things only created by your mind will stop you from getting your miracle!!!
Application: The night before my youngest birthday, while I was packing loot bags for his party I was being anxious with 1.2M, I needed to pay for the stocks so it could arrive here in the country. As part of being a melancholic a 'thinker' I exhausted my mind where I can get that amount; for we have already paid 2/3 of that 3 months ago and the stocks needed to be paid in full to arrive. And so I counted first, every chocolate for the loot bags and calculated how many loot bags I can make; 150 divided by 3 is 50 (I rechecked twice) While I was picking each chocolate my mind is counting and sorting and I begun to pray. I said, "Lord what if the children were more than 50, they haven't eaten this kind of chocolates yet, can you make it 70? Just like what You did with the 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes that fed 5,000 men not counting women with leftover." I was sure my heart began to feel joy in my heart and went on counting and putting in chocolates to the loot bags. When my back begun to feel a little achy, and seeing little chocolates left in the bed, I started to count how many loot bags I made, I bundled them by 10 bags, and my tears began to fell when I counted I already made 50 and there's more in the bed... I counted every visible bags 55, 60, 69 and when I saw the last loot bag beneath the pillow I wept aloud. I heard what God said to me, Nerie, if I can do this with chocolates I can definitely do this in your finances. What a great God we have... All we need is to be like the beggar so bold to ask.

Unlock The Stumbling Block
Text: 2 Samuel 1-4
Rhema Verse: 2 Samuel 3:9 "May God deal with Abner, be it ever so severely, if I do not do for David what the Lord promised him on oath"
Message: The Only difference between a stumbling block and steppingstones is the way in which we use them. David is really an awesome guy! As my husband told me yesterday during his devo, David became Gods-after-own heart because he exemplified the grace of Jesus Christ (read more in his devo =). Walang kabalak-balak si Ishboshet (Saul's son) maging hari, everybody loves David, and he is the promised king. But Abner became a stumbling block in David's path. Parang, Ayun na sana e!!! Sayang! Naantala pa!! But david did not see it as a stumbling block BUT steppingstones!!!! Though it is a hurdle, he did not look at what people can do but what God can do in his life!!! He waited patiently for the Lord, for His glorious appointed time! Halleluijah! Praise God for the life of David.
In the end, Abner- the stumbling block, became the stepping stone for David's prophecy, and also to reveal the rebellious heart of the people around David before he became king over all Israel.
Promise: God directs the path of the righteous!!! The righteous live by faith!!
Command: Look at the steppingstones!!!! so dami!!!! =) Unblock the stumbling blocks!!!!
Warning: If we stop because of a hurdle or afraid of the stumbling block the destination will be blocked!!!
Application: Lord this is my prayer: 1. teach me to wait patiently for my glorious appointed time. 2. Let me enjoy the ride, let it be the best time of my life! 3. Even though the enemy and my situation tells me i have a big block ahead, let me see Your hand na pinipitik lang ang mga hurdles of problems. For your plans and ways are perfect Lord. I love you Lord, I trust in You alone!!!!

The Sun Stood Still
DAY 102
TEXT: JOSH 9-12
Rhema Verse: Joshua
10:13b-14
“…The sun stopped in the
middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day. There has never been
a day like it before or since, a day when the Lord listened to a human being.
Surely the Lord was fighting for Israel!
MESSAGE:
Joshua prayed, that’s why the
sun stood still. For whom? For the Gibeonites, it was a royal city full of the
best fighting men, but then, they heard and believed God’s word through Moses
and now they are Israel’s converted-enemy (for they swore an oath).
When their betrayed allies were coming up against the
Gibeon’s, they asked for Joshua’s help. And God assured Joshua none of his
enemies will live, once again he displayed his power, he showered hailstones
from heaven, and the SUN STOOD STILL!
It shows us the power of prayer and relying on God. Without
God’s strength none can be accomplished. And for the Gibeonites, because they
believe GOD, HE fought for them. The Gibeonites portrayed how the Gentiles
received their salvation. GOD gave Jesus once and for ALL!
PROMISE: The Lord
said to Joshua/Nerie, “Do not be afraid of them; I have given them into your
hand. Not one of them will be able to withstand you.”
COMMAND: Do not be
afraid!
WARNING:
APPLICATION: It’s
empowering to know that GOD is fighting for me. I need to PUSH: Pray Until Something Happens!

Stand Up And Conquer!
DAY 101
TEXT: JOSHUA 5-8
Rhema Verse:
DEUT 7:10 The
Lord said to Joshua, “Stand up! What are you doing down on your face?"
MESSAGE: Israel
faced defeat over Ai’s army because of one man who did not listen and rebel
against God’s orders- Achan. And Joshua, Moses assistant for a long-time was
pouring out his ‘sentiments’ over the LORD, as Moses did. And the Lord rebuked
him, “Stand up! What are you doing on your face?” God has told him to be strong and courageous!!! This is not the time of testing in the wilderness!! There is NO time to wait and NO time to
lose! THIS is the time of CONQUERING the Land of flowing milk and honey
NERIE!!!
PROMISE: Shout! For the LORD has given you what HE had promised!!
(Joshua 6:16)
COMMAND: STAND UP!
Do not worry or be troubled!
APPLICATION: The Lord
is impressing me that this is NO time to wait, NO time to mourn, for this is
the time that I will SEE His hand work on everything He promised for us through
His prophecies. I need to ask for God’s wisdom on how to strategize, manage,
and take the plunder!!! WORRY NO MORE, just SEE what the LORD has done! Thank
you Lord for the City for Children, the Hacienda, the 15 Corporations, and the
PSEJ Mega Churches! Halleluijah! With GOD NOTHING is impossible

I NEED WISDOM
DAY 100
TEXT: Deut 33 - JOSHUA 4
Rhema Verse: Deuteronomy
34:9 “Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the Spirit of wisdom, because Moses
had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites listened to him and did what the
Lord had commanded Moses.
MESSAGE:
For a long time Joshua looked up to Moses. He saw the
miraculous signs and wonders done in Egypt to set Israel free. Joshua saw how
Moses managed “stiff-necked” 600,000 men
excluding women and children. He waited for Moses beside the tent, while he was
talking and reasoning to GOD. He must have felt he can’t be like Moses because
‘Moses is Moses’, that’s why Moses and the LORD kept on telling him to be
strong and courageous.
But this is what I saw: Because he submitted and obeyed
Moses, because he did not compromise to the popular report when he was sent as
a spy, because he waited for his right timing, and because he waited for the
presence of the LORD in the tent: GOD raised and lifted him up and filled him
with GREAT wisdom. Only he and Caleb went in to the Promised Land among all
their generations.
PROMISE: If you gather GOD’s wisdom, it will lift you up in life.
COMMAND: Gather
wisdom: the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom… (Proverbs 9:10)
WARNING:
APPLICATION: Joshua
became a very good follower to Moses. In return what he sow he reaped GREATER
than he expected!
