I NEED WISDOM

DAY 100

TEXT: Deut 33 - JOSHUA 4

Rhema Verse: Deuteronomy 34:9 “Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the Spirit of wisdom, because Moses had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites listened to him and did what the Lord had commanded Moses.

MESSAGE:

         For a long time Joshua looked up to Moses. He saw the miraculous signs and wonders done in Egypt to set Israel free. Joshua saw how Moses managed  “stiff-necked” 600,000 men excluding women and children. He waited for Moses beside the tent, while he was talking and reasoning to GOD. He must have felt he can’t be like Moses because ‘Moses is Moses’, that’s why Moses and the LORD kept on telling him to be strong and courageous.

         But this is what I saw: Because he submitted and obeyed Moses, because he did not compromise to the popular report when he was sent as a spy, because he waited for his right timing, and because he waited for the presence of the LORD in the tent: GOD raised and lifted him up and filled him with GREAT wisdom. Only he and Caleb went in to the Promised Land among all their generations.

PROMISE: If you gather GOD’s wisdom, it will lift you up in life.

COMMAND: Gather wisdom: the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom… (Proverbs 9:10)

WARNING:  

APPLICATION: Joshua became a very good follower to Moses. In return what he sow he reaped GREATER than he expected!

Circumcision Of The Heart

DAY 106

TEXT: DEUT 30-32

Rhema Verse: Deuteronomy 30:6 “The Lord your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live.”

MESSAGE: Circumcision of the heart means putting God first and not my own plans, ways and directives. When we seek God and follow His ways it will benefit our family, neighbors and most especially ourselves. It mold our character so we can be an effective witness to many. Then the LORD will bless us for this, for being salt and light of the world.

PROMISE: There is GREAT reward for those whose heart pumps for the purpose of loving and obeying God.

COMMAND: Love GOD, Love people

WARNING:  

APPLICATION: Always ask myself, “will this please God? Will my actions bring glory and people towards His Kingdom?”

Treasured Possession

DAY 97

TEXT: DEUT 22-26

Rhema Verse: Deut 26:18-19 “And the Lord has declared this day that you are his people, his treasured possession as he promised, and that you are to keep all his commands. He has declared that he will set you in praise, fame and honor high above all the nations he has made and that you will be a people holy to the Lord your God, as he promised.

MESSAGE:

              My sisters & brothers share everything; clothes, make-ups, gadgets, anything. But when a ‘NEW thing’ just came, sealed and fresh from the box, that is the ‘new greatest possession’ for that day, and we will gather round it but no one will open it except the owner, or else the owner will cry and nag everybody J But after opening and saying our “ooh” and “aahs”, we can touch and use it.             

              God said we are HIS treasured possession. He said in Isaiah 43, He could even wipe out men, a nation just to save His treasured possession. Example Egypt, Amalekites, Nobody touches His treasured possession unless that man moved-away from God’s protection and disown God. (1Tim 2:11-13) We should always remember that GOD loved us SOOOO MUCH! That He gave HIS most BELOVED TREASURE in heaven- His One and Only Son, JESUS.        

PROMISE: If GOD promised, GOD will surely do it; for HE is a Holy God, and He does NOT lie.

COMMAND: Keep God’s commands. Love GOD, love people.

WARNING: Do not disown God

APPLICATION: As a parent, my most treasured possession that God has entrusted to me is my family. And WE are GOD’s family!
