THIRST THAT CANNOT BE QUENCHED

DAY 106
TEXT: JUDGES 1-4

Rhema Verse: Judges 3:10 The Spirit of the Lord came on him, so that he became Israel’s judge and went to war.

MESSAGE: Othniel conquered a land in exchange for Caleb’s daughter for marriage. Then, He asked his wife to ask his father Caleb for springs of water. Spring of water symbolizes the Holy Spirit, Othniel is a man that cannot be quenched, he wants more of God’s presence. He knew there’s something more in stored for him.  After Israel’s rebellion God raised Othniel and filled him and became Israel’s judge and gave them peace for forty years. If we are filled with the Spirit of God we will thirst no more for earthly things but to the presence of God alone.

PROMISE: Peace for those with the Spirit of God

COMMAND: Thirst for God!

WARNING:  Rebellion brings desolation.

APPLICATION: I need to get ready my heart and my life to be filled in an EXTRA-ordinary, definitely a WHOLE NEW LEVEL of God’s presence, revelation and directions! The THIRST that should not be quenched is the longing for God’s presence in my life everyday.

HE WILL DO WHAT HE SAYS HE WILL DO

DAY 105
TEXT: JOSH 21-24

Rhema Verse: Joshua 21:45 “Not one of all the Lord ’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled.”

MESSAGE:
When God promised, HE Himself delivers. You are an awesome God! Thank you Lord for Your promises Lord.

A BIG OUCH and bukol this morning. Last night, I was pouring my heart to Dad about sentiments we have to my sisters. I kept on saying, we need to do this and that, how can we receive this or that, forgetting that it is not because we have dimples, or by our strength, or abilities the promises of God will be fulfilled.  IT IS BECAUSE GOD IS FAITHFUL AND HE WILL DO WHAT HE SAYS HE WILL DO!!!

PROMISE:  Joshua 24:12-13 I sent the hornet ahead of you, which drove them out before you—also the two Amorite kings. You did not do it with your own sword and bow. So I gave you a land on which you did not toil and cities you did not build; and you live in them and eat from vineyards and olive groves that you did not plant.

COMMAND: LOOK UP to GOD and DO NOT look down!

WARNING:  If you fail to see God in His promises, it will be impossible in your eyes.

APPLICATION: There are huge promises God has given us, and in a naked eye, truly I can boldly confess, without God it is impossible!! But Praise the Lord for it is the LORD who promised and not men. What GOD started he will deliver!

EXCEEDINGLY, ABUNDANTLY

DAY 104
TEXT: JOSHUA 16-20

Joshua 17:14b “…We are a numerous people, and the Lord has blessed us abundantly.”

MESSAGE:
Nothing can stop the favor and blessings of the LORD, it is too numerous to count, too extravagant!!! At para sa aking iyon! J Amen! From a brother traded-to-be-slave now to a super blessed lineage! Whoa!

But they are a little spoon-fed people because they wanted to be provided for. But Joshua commanded them to go up to the forests and conquer more land, because they are too numerous, and blessed abundantly!

PROMISE: If GOD promised, GOD will surely do it; for HE is a Holy God, and He does NOT lie.

COMMAND: Divide and conquer, do not be complacent

WARNING:

APPLICATION: Sometimes we do need to take initiative, depending on the situation and the Holy Spirit’s leading.

KERI MO PA BA LO?

DAY 103
TEXT: JOSH 13-15

Rhema Verse: Joshua 14:10-11 “Now then, just as the Lord promised, he has kept me alive for forty- five years since the time he said this to Moses, while Israel moved about in the wilderness. So here I am today, eighty- five years old! I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out; I’m just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then.”

MESSAGE:
When I look pale and tired and a person come and asks me, “Are you sick?” Even though I really don’t feel I am sick I will start to feel like it, maybe it’s because of the attention or something.
Caleb was old at the age of 85 but he is still determined, strong and eagerly expecting for God’s promises to him even after 45 years. He helped a lot of Israelites claim their inheritance, but he did not stop unless he got his; he did not bent to the usual expectations and visions of ordinary men. He is not mediocre but he does have a ‘simple’ faith and a childlike expectations.

PROMISE: The LORD will do just as HE promised

COMMAND: Believe!
WARNING:

APPLICATION: I need to be like Caleb! Kering-keri natin ito! Fight the good fight of faith! Aja!

The Sun Stood Still

DAY 102
TEXT: JOSH 9-12

Rhema Verse: Joshua 10:13b-14
“…The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day. There has never been a day like it before or since, a day when the Lord listened to a human being. Surely the Lord was fighting for Israel!

MESSAGE:
Joshua prayed, that’s why the sun stood still. For whom? For the Gibeonites, it was a royal city full of the best fighting men, but then, they heard and believed God’s word through Moses and now they are Israel’s converted-enemy (for they swore an oath).
When their betrayed allies were coming up against the Gibeon’s, they asked for Joshua’s help. And God assured Joshua none of his enemies will live, once again he displayed his power, he showered hailstones from heaven, and the SUN STOOD STILL!
It shows us the power of prayer and relying on God. Without God’s strength none can be accomplished. And for the Gibeonites, because they believe GOD, HE fought for them. The Gibeonites portrayed how the Gentiles received their salvation. GOD gave Jesus once and for ALL!

PROMISE: The Lord said to Joshua/Nerie, “Do not be afraid of them; I have given them into your hand. Not one of them will be able to withstand you.”

COMMAND: Do not be afraid!
WARNING:
APPLICATION: It’s empowering to know that GOD is fighting for me. I need to PUSH: Pray Until Something Happens!
