Obedience That Leads To Righteousness

Day 147
TITLE: Obedience That Leads To Righteousness
TEXT: Leviticus 15 – 18
RHEMA VERSE: Leviticus 18:3
You must not do as they do in Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. Do not follow their practices.

MESSAGE: As Christians, we received grace beyond measure, the Father's love, regeneration and acceptance in the beloved. We are heirs to God's Kingdom and righteousness. Now the question is: How did Christ lived when He came on earth? Even though He is the Son of the Most High God; He came here with all humilty, a perfect example: prayerful, He still reads the Bible, care and heals the sick, listen to and teaches his stubborn disciples, loved and showed compassion to people. The author of grace showed works by the partnership of the Holy Spirit not just by mere words or knowldege, but with actions and works of love. Pwede naman Siyang tumungaga at mag-utos utos na lang, and then suddenly ching! Ligtas na kayo dahil gusto ko!) But Why does He needed to obey? - to show love to His Father and to show love to us. (To love God and to love people) Now, if we really love God, we will obey and have a change of mind, desires and actions. Because when we received Jesus we repented, repentance means to DECIDE to change your old ways and make JESUS the Lord and savior.  Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey —whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? Romans 6:16

For I no longer live but Christ lives in me, for I have been crucified with Christ. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20

PROMISE: Now that I am a slave of righteousness the benefit I reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. Rom 6:22

COMMAND: Jesus said, "If you love Me, you will obey my commands" john 14:23, matt 28:20 (Greatest command: to love God, to love people)

WARNING: Do not let sin reign in your mortal body

APPLICATION: There are times I need to pray, Lord please increase my love for You. I want to love you more. Unahin kita, make you my priority. I thank the Lord for my Faith increases in my life now as we go through the g-12 process. I do not have any desire to change myself or whatsoever before, all my heart's desire is to make myself rich for my family. but now I have seen that if I really profess myself as a Christian I need to follow Christ. I've learned how he LOVED me and because of that I want to obey or love Him more. I strongly believe I am not saved through my performance but by just believing, but I want to do this to show my love for Him and so He can tell me I am a good and faithful servant by His grace.

TO DRINK OR NOT TO DRINK

DAY 145
TEXT: Leviticus 9-12

Rhema Verse: Leviticus 10:8-10 Then the Lord said to Aaron, “You and your sons are not to drink wine or other fermented drink whenever you go into the tent of meeting, or you will die. This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, so that you can distinguish between the holy and the common, between the unclean and the clean,

MESSAGE:
When I became a  Christian at 8 years old, I always hear a testimony that when they became a Christian they stopped drinking wine. So in my mind all kinds of wine is evil, it was forbidden like the fruit in Eden. Whenever I see someone drinking wine, I despised them and say, “Yucks! Backslider!” But then I read in Exo 29:40 that wine was offered to the Lord as a drink offering but with the prescribed measurement, a quarter of a hin. Paul was telling his apprentice Timothy to drink a little wine for his stomach. 1 Cor 6:12 “Everything is permissible, but not everything is beneficial. I have the right to do anything but I will not be mastered by it – mastered means to be controlled, be overpowered or be a slaved.
The first noted person in the Bible who became overpowered by wine was Noah (maybe he invented wine). After he became drunk, he stripped-off his clothes and was seen by his son Ham and did not cover him but insulted his father and resulted to a great curse to his generations. And then Aarons sons – the priests Lev 10, because they had TOO Much they did a terrible thing while in the Presence of God and they died instantly. For me, I am like Timothy; I drink wine for my stomach. I drink it when my stomach aches about 60ml, I drink red wine when there's a celebration, we even make herbal wine and prescribed it. I still play games in the computer when I feel like to, but I decide not to be mastered by it by the grace of God. Because I learned that I need to be and God needs me to be a testimony and a worker for His Great Commission.

PROMISE:  We have the power to choose life so we can live bountifully in God.

COMMAND: Do not be mastered (controlled, be slaved to) by anything

WARNING:  Too much of ANYTHING cannot make you distinguish between right and wrong, holy and the common and may cause to great consequences

APPLICATION: Lord Jesus, I pray for my brothers and sisters, Lord Your will be done in our life, break us, control us, satisfy our needs and desires with Your presence. There’s NO greater joy than being with You.

THE SWAP

DAY 143
TEXT: Leviticus 1-5

Rhema Verse: Leviticus 4:33 They are to lay their hand on its head and slaughter it for a sin offering at the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered.

MESSAGE:
The sins were transferred from a person to the lamb on the laying of hands on its head. There was a SWAP; an exchange, from a lamb that was pure, spotless, first born, young with no defects - to a sinful, ugly, shameful being. This offering will be burnt to atone or make someone holy for a whole year. That was the Law of Moses, but when Jesus came there was a SWAP, a righteousness of God freely given to us not just for a whole year, but eternal righteousness for those who BELIEVE and Follow Him.
Jesus, the son of the Most High God (blameless, pure of love and compassion, eternal, super powerful) became man, came to this earth heal and loved us and then SWAP with US on the cross, (man who is condemned, shameful, sinful, etc.) Jesus was undignified so we can have our dignity. He became sin so we became righteous. Jesus became poor, so we can be rich in love, financial and emotional. Jesus was rejected so we can be accepted by God, eternally. Thank You Jesus!!

PROMISE: If we confess our sins to Jesus- the Lamb of God, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

COMMAND: Confess with your mouth you need Jesus and that He is Lord and Savior.

APPLICATION: When I received the message of grace and let the Holy Spirit work in me and reveal it to me, my life was never the same again. Grace was not a license to sin, but a freedom to love GOD more, knowing and understanding that Jesus loved me first. It is not by my actions or works, not by my performance that I am saved, but because JESUS loved me and died for my sins. It gave me freedom to love Him back and let Him rule over me completely – I began to experience the total reliance that the Holy Spirit longs for.

HOW THE GLORY FILLED THE TEMPLE

DAY 142
TEXT: Exodus 38-40

Rhema Verse: Exodus 40:34-36 “Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle..

MESSAGE: I have noted that three times in the bible the splendor, glory, beauty, holiness, and God’s presence filled and saturated His temple that no one can enter or move about because it was so THICK and too INTENSE. The first was with Moses, after they finished the Temple. The second after King Solomon built and dedicated the Temple and the whole Israelites. The third is about to come, in Revelation 15, after those who were victorious over the beast who did not receive the sign, sang the song of Moses and Jesus.
At first, I thought it was because they finished - the temple, the task. But then, I asked God, if I have ever felt that kind of very heavy, so intense, so aahhh! Incomparable Presence, the pure Holiness of God in my entire life that led me to look up and ask; God how can Your whole Holiness saturate me? Yung parang magpapa-anod ka na lang dahil parang dagat sa sobrang laki at lalim. Then God told me:
Moses – after the people sinned with the calf, God was about to exterminate all of them, but then Moses reasoned-out with God, he was too bold na parang inunahan niya pa si God na magalit sa mga tao at parang sinisi pa si God Exo 33:12 ( I picture out my my sister Michel, bago siya mapagalitan uunahan niya na ng come-back para hindi na siya mapagalitan J ) But then Moses said in desperation, TEACH ME Your ways… SHOW me Your Glory.
King Solomon – after his father, King David had given him the entire kingdom of Israel and his brothers were after him. He cried out in desperation to God when asked, what do you want? He said Lord I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO GOVERN YOUR PEOPLE, TEACH ME! He asked for wisdom and discernment, and when he received it his wisdom (Jesus) prompted him to build a temple for God. And the result 1Kings 8:11
With just these two, I learned that the Holiness, the Glory of God will come down on me if I humble myself to the Lord and cry out, LORD!!! I CAN NOT do it (be  good, to govern, etc.) anything without you, TEACH me LORD!!!!! That and ONLY then that we LET the Glory of God to change us.

PROMISE: GOD NEVER leaves us nor forsake us.

COMMAND: CALL and be answered! ASK and receive!

APPLICATION: Lord from now on, I will rely in Your Glory and Holiness. I realized that it could NEVER be by my own effort. You are too good LORD, because You have provided Jesus to be my holiness. LORD, teach me Your ways. I love you!!!

THE CALL TO SERVE

DAY 141
TEXT: Exodus 35-37

Rhema Verse: Exodus 35: 10 “All who are skilled among you are to come and make everything the Lord has commanded:

MESSAGE: God wants me to use the abilities He has given me.  I need to follow the call to serve and fulfill the Great commission.  And in turn God will not forget to shower me with rewards- blessings. I cannot out-give the ONLY God who owns the whole heaven and earth. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. (Matt 19:29) Whoa!

PROMISE: For whoever has will be given more, and they will have abundance. (Matt 25:29a).

COMMAND: Come and serve.

WARNING: Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them (Matt 25:29b).

APPLICATION: When we started to go through G-12 process, many blessings were poured-out in the church. Even before the 24 pastors and workers finished through Post-Encounter, 6 received new laptops, 2 received new car, my aunt finished paying her house & lot, we received new directions for the church, provisions for the company and new gadgets! Lord, I am excited for the next days to come!! J

The Intercession

Day 140
TEXT:  Exodus 31 – 34

RHEMA VERSE: Exodus 32:11 But Moses sought the favor of the Lord his God. " Lord ," he said, "why should your anger burn against your people, whom you brought out of Egypt with great power and a mighty hand?

MESSAGE: The Israelites made the worst sin ever, it was soo severe that God was about to exterminate all of them, especially Aaron-the priest (Moses' brother); Because they worshipped other gods made by human hands. But Moses interceded, mediated for them, God relented. If God listened to Moses- a human, sinful in nature, hot tempered and ex-murderer when he interceded and saved a WHOLE sinful detestable nation; how much more the Heavenly Father will listen to HIS ONLY Son Jesus when He prays and mediates for us?! Halleluijah!!! Thank you Lord Jesus!! All we need to do is receive His gift of righteousness.

PROMISE: For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son (JESUS) that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

COMMAND: Intercede! The prayer of the righteous availeth much.

WARNING: Worshipping other gods will bring curse and death

APPLICATION: I learned the power of prayer especially for the salvation of my loved ones and my prayer of 3. When you pray and intercede the Holy Spirit works on them in wondrous ways that they can't say no to God.

I AM THE LORD

DAY 134
TEXT: Exodus 8-11

Rhema Verse: Exodus 8:2 “…that you may tell your children and grandchildren how I dealt harshly with the Egyptians and how I performed my signs among them, and that you may know that I am the Lord.”

MESSAGE: The LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, Egypt was experiencing the worst ever, never-before seen or heard plaques just to show Israel that the LORD loves them, and that there is NO OTHER GOD, for their hearts was set to the gods that enslaved them in Egypt. The LORD wants to make a great impact, a grand entrance, a once and a lifetime encounter in Israel’s heart and mind, an encounter that could change lives forever up to their children’s children and grandchildren. LORD you are AWESOME!

PROMISE: If GOD is for us, who can be against us?

COMMAND: Make no other gods

WARNING: If you harden your heart to the Lord like Pharaoh, you will experience plagues.

APPLICATION: I encountered God when I was 8 years old; in those days my heart was full of bitterness and longing for my parents. We were living at my grandma’s while my parents were working away to earn for us, and they promised that when we have our own house we would be all together again, but it seemed forever. One day, they came and said they found a new God and we should smash our old gods for this REAL God will bless us and give us a house. At that moment, I believed, I said to myself I want that GOD!!! Days after that I received Jesus when a pastor made a call, and that God I believed in, did not fail me in ANY way, HE gave me MORE THAN I ask for, Jesus became my best friend, LORD, Savior, blesser, giver of wisdom, favor, joy peace – MY EVERYTHING.
